Louisville weather doesn't ask permission
Wind shear off a summer thunderstorm, an ice load in January, ground so soaked the roots let go. Every Louisville homeowner eventually walks outside to a tree where a tree shouldn't be, on the fence, across the driveway, leaning on the garage, or spread across the whole backyard.
Two of our Google reviews start exactly there. One customer had "multiple big trees" down after a bad storm; another needed eyes on the damage immediately. Both say the same thing about what happened next: we came out fast, worked hard, and cleaned up right.
What to do first
- Stay back from anything touching a power line. That's a call to LG&E first, not to us, not to anyone with a saw.
- Don't cut a tree that's under tension. A trunk loaded across a fence or another tree can snap back with force a homeowner's saw day doesn't prepare you for.
- Take photos for insurance before anything moves, wide shots and close-ups both.
- Then call or text us at (502) 767-5239 with a photo if you can. Storm damage goes to the front of the line.
How storm cleanup works
First visit is about making it safe: getting weight off structures and fences, cutting the hazard out of the tree that's half-fallen. Then the cleanup you'd expect from our reviews, everything bucked, hauled, and raked, so the storm's only evidence is the story you tell about it.
If the storm took the tree halfway, we'll finish the job as a full removal, and grind the stump while we're there if you want the spot gone completely.
Insurance jobs
If the tree hit a structure, your homeowner's policy is likely involved. We'll give you a clear written quote you can hand your adjuster, and work in whatever order the claim needs.
