What counts as an emergency
If a tree or limb is touching your house, car, fence, or blocking the way in or out, that's an emergency. Same if a big tree is leaning in a way it wasn't yesterday. Don't wait on it, and don't walk under it. Call (502) 767-5239 and tell us what you see.
What happens when you call
Emergencies go to the front of the line, ahead of scheduled work. Customers have had us out the same day after a bad storm, and the first move is always the same: make the situation safe, get the weight off whatever it's on, and open your access back up. Full cleanup can happen right then or as a fast follow-up, whatever the situation calls for.
One warning we'll always give
If a tree or limb is tangled in a power line, stay far away from it and call LG&E first. Once the line is safe, we handle the tree.
After the emergency
Once the urgent part is handled, the rest is normal work: hauling, raking, and the walkthrough our reviews keep bragging about. If the storm left more damage around the yard, storm cleanup picks up where the emergency stops.
